2012 Men’s Holiday Gift Guide: Part Three

27 Nov

Christmas is right around the corner, and if you’re like me you’ve probably already been stressing about what to get your significant other.

While I may have to ask elsewhere, if you’re trying to get ideas for what to buy a man, you’ve definitely come to the right place.

One important thing to remember is that men mostly want things they can use.

Sure, we may need some new dress slacks, and if your guy is in dire need, this could be a good gift idea.

But today, we’re going to focus on the stuff guys want.

This is going to be a long, thorough list, so we’re breaking it up into three parts. You can find Part One here, and Part Two here.

We’re getting opinions from all kinds of different men, so you’ll be sure to find something perfect for your other half.

*I know this was supposed to be published on Friday, but Thanksgiving put me a bit behind schedule. Sorry!

Men’s Fashion & Accessories

In most cases, I would give you some advice on clothing to buy your man here.

But after some thought, I realized that there were already some awesome blogs that excel at this, and do a much better job than I ever could at giving advisement on men’s fashion. Go ahead and click on through some of these links to see the hottest in men’s style.

Stay Classic

Here is a blog ran by a guy from Los Angeles that not only shows you some of the best styles for men, but even goes as far to include links to all of the items in his postings.

And the best part?

Most of the outfits he puts together won’t break your bank this holiday season.

Check out his blog and thank me later.

Put This On

Here is another great blog that will have you dressing your man like a champ.

Put This On has tons of fashion advice on their site, from tying ties correctly, to what color shoes to wear, and beyond.

The part you’ll be interested in is that they also go hunting for deals on the internet, so not only are you finding out what to get your guy, but you’re also getting the cheapest price available.

Talk about the package deal.

Valet throws a slew of style advice at it’s readers daily, and if you click onto it’s Personal Shopper section, you’ll be treated to a guided shopping engine tailored specifically for men’s clothing and accessories.

Effortless Gent

Here is the site for men’s fashion advice. You can find buying advice for all of the best looks here.

And for the Christmas shopping season, they’ve even been nice enough to show you some great deals from their favorite online retailers. Check them out.

Man Cave Gifts

Most likely, if you’re married to, or living with a man, he probably already has a man cave set up. If that’s the case, you probably know what he likes to keep in his man cave, and what he could use.

Every man cave is different, so I’m not going to suggest any items. Some men have bars and pool tables in their man cave, others have massive HDTVs.

So just go along with the theme when buying things for his man cave, and to get started, go here for ideas.

If your significant other hasn’t yet had the pleasure of cutting out his own slice of paradise, maybe you can get him kick started?

I recently came upon a great site that will help you do just that.

Epic Man Cave

Mark over at Epic Man Cave  created the site specifically for helping men build their man caves, so why not hop over and get a head start on the brainstorming? Afterwards, approach your guy with some ideas, and set him loose.

Now we’re talking real Christmas cheer.

That will do it for the 2012 Men’s Holiday Gift Guide!

Hopefully you’ve been able to get some inspiration from viewing this guide, and you’re well on your way to surprising your man with something special this holiday season.
